After a crazy week of work and family, I finally got my suitcase packed just hours before walking out the door! For those of you who know my Type A personality and organizational skills, I’m sure you can appreciate how stressed out I was to keep the packing until the bitter end. But never fear…I made it!
I need to thank Jenna, my dear friend, who not only drove me from Mankato to Minneapolis today, but also sat down with me in the hotel room and taught me how to Blog. You’re wonderful!
For those of you just tuning into my life, I’m about to travel to China with a group of friends, students and faculty members from the Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, located at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Every two years the school takes a trip to China, and I’m fortunate enough to join in the travels. This is an opportunity I can’t pass up, not only on a professional level but a very personal one as well. We will tour Beijing for one week and then study at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for two weeks. I’m planning to keep you posted with photos and brief video clips of our time in China.
The first photo I’m sharing is of all my luggage! Take note that the large black one is empty and I’ll be putting the purple one inside it so I just have to check one bag. You see, on the return flight, the black one will be full of purchases! :)

Pre-Travel Luggage
I’ll try to make daily posts and keep you updated on the whole experience. Enjoy the show!
